Jess Flatters

Jess was born in Wigan, Greater Manchester and moved to Stoke on Trent in her early years. She formed a life in the Staffordshire Moorlands and absolutely loves where she lives. She’s an outdoor person who enjoys walking, camping and exploring new places. As a long-distance runner Jess is always training for her next event. She’s completed several half marathons including the Potters Arf at least three times. Her favourite dogs are Springer Spaniels’ and she always likes to keep one or two. She is a singer, DJ and producer of Electronic Music in her spare time. She also enjoys restoring classic cars and you’ll always see her driving something from the 1980s.

Jess finished school in 2004 with 8 GCSEs in English & English Literature, Maths, Science, Law, History, Art & Dance.

After pursuing her A levels in English, History and Law she took a 10-year break from studying and worked as a Customer Relations Adviser in Alternative Dispute Resolution, for a large telecommunications company.

In 2016, Jess reduced her hours to part time and began 7 years of full-time study in the field of Music obtaining a Diploma, First Class Degree and a Master’s Degree in Music Production which she completed with a Distinction.

Since completing her studies in 2023, Jess has been working as a free-lance musician whilst continuing her part time work.

Nowell Meller Journey: Jess began working for Nowell Meller in 2024, originally as temporary worker covering Reception. After a number of months, Jess accepted the position of an Assistant in the Family Team. Jess loves working with Nowell Meller and is looking forward to a long and prosperous career with the team.
